We wanted to thank everyone who helped The Great Escape celebrate Record Store Day this past weekend: it was the best one that we've ever had, and we owe it all to you!

Now, we wanted to let you know our next event: a 2-day "Free Comic Book Day" celebration from SAT, 5/4 - SUN, 5/5 at all locations of The Great Escape. (Mark your calendars!)

This year we'll be offering 6 free comic books per customer* (five of your choice from a diverse section of comics published especially for this occasion- plus, everyone gets a bonus sixth title: DC's "Superman: The Last Son Of Krypton" #1.)

Free comic books offered this year include titles featuring:

And yes, you heard right: because of popular demand, we'll be extending Free Comic Book Day to two days this year!

And for our friends up in Louisville: you can get free comic books for an entire week at the Louisville location of the Great Escape; instead of just having Free Comic Book day (like most comic shops), we have our own celebration that we call Free Comic Book Week!
