We wanted to let you know one more time about the
big $1 Comic Book Blowout Sale and 35% off Back Issue
Comics Sale* that takes place this SAT, 12/12 at The
Great Escape Madison from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. (The full 11
hours that we‘re open!)
But there's something else that we wanted everybody to
know about, as well: this SUN, 12/13 our Charlotte
Avenue and Madison superstore locations will be closing an hour
early- at 6 p.m.- so that we can have our annual
employee Christmas party. (Apologies if this is an inconvenience for any of
you.)
The $1 Comics Blowout
Sale in the special events room of our new Madison store (just across
the parking lot from where it was before, at 105 Gallatin Road N.) will feature
1,000s of premium $1 comic books, including
many titles in like-new, unread condition- and
many issues that are bagged &
boarded. (A large percentage of these were pulled from our backup
comics restock, or our new comics stands- and have an original retail value of
$2.99-$9.99- or more!) Additionally, many of these have never been
offered for sale before, at any location of The Great
Escape.
Also, all Back
Issue Comic Books*, used Graphic Novels, Trade
Paperbacks & Hardcovers will be 35%
off on our regular sales floor. (That's an additional 10% savings over
our everyday low price of 25% off on these!) Grab Bags &
Sale Comics will also receive the 35% off
discount.
Plus, we'll be taking
20% off all collectors' supplies: boxes, bags,
boards, dividers, etc. (which is also an additional 10% off our regular 10% off
retail price).
Come early! Come
often! Fresh stock will be added regularly during sale
hours.
