Join us this Thursday, August 1st, when Phil Kaufman, The "Road Mangler," will join us in our Special Events Room at The Great Escape on Charlotte Ave to discuss his involvement in the recording and distribution of the infamous Charles Manson "Lies" album. Randy Fox will moderate what is likely to be a lively discussion with the man who was on the front lines during a turbulent time in our nation's history. Phil, who produced the record, will take some questions from the audience, and will also be auctioning his personal copy of the "Lies" record that evening. This event will begin at 7:30 p.m. The auction should begin around 8:15 or so.
If you are unable to join us in person, we will be streaming this event on our Facebook page. We will not have a direct link to the live feed until the event begins, but if you check on our page Thursday evening at 7:30 it should be there.
Starting at 6 p.m. that same evening, we will debut an outstanding collection of psychedelic black light posters from the late 60's/early 70's period. These posters will all be for sale throughout the night and in the days to follow.
