It's been a great summer for special events at the Great Escape this year- and we've loved seeing so many faces, both old and new, during the last couple of months.
Now, here's a new event at our Madison store: a $1 Comic Book Sidewalk Sale this SAT, 8/15 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
1,000s & 1,000s of Back Issue Comics, regularly priced $2.99-$9.99 (from various genres), will be offered for sale at the ridiculously low price of $1 each on our sidewalk- many of which are in like-new, unread condition (having been pulled from our new comics stands). And, many issues are also already bagged & boarded- making for even bigger bargains!
Inside the store, we'll be taking 35% off all Back Issue Comic Books*, used Trade Paperbacks, Hardcovers and Graphic Novels (a savings of an additional 10% off our everyday low price of 25% off on all of these). Additionally, all Grab Bags and Sale Comics will also receive the 35% off discount.
And, all Collector's Supplies will be 20% off for this event only: Bags, Dividers, Boxes, Boards, etc. (That's an additional savings of 10% on these as well, since they're always 10% off at all locations of The Great Escape.)
This will be the perfect opportunity to fill in the issues in your collection that you need, or try some titles that you've not read before- and do so at a tiny fraction of what you'd ordinarily pay.
