We wanted to let you know about our next event: a 2-day "Free Comic Book Day" celebration from SAT, 5/7- SUN, 5/8 at all locations of The Great Escape.

We'll be offering 5 free comic books per customer* per day this year during our "Free Comic Book Day" weekend from the following titles:

...and many, many more! (Plus, you can get 5 free comics during both days of the celebration- making it a total of 10 free comic books that you can receive if you attend both days.)

But there's more: for every $10 that you spend on merchandise during "Free Comic Day Weekend", you also get another free comic book! (Just keep your receipt after checking out and show it to our staff in our free comic books area to get your additional free comics.)

And (last but not least), you’ll get one more if you show up in costume!

In addition to official Free Comic Book Day titles we’ll be offering other back issues at all Great Escape locations. This will be the largest selection of free titles we have offered in the 15 years of celebrating Free Comic Book Day.

There will also be 40% OFF all BACK ISSUE COMIC BOOKS! (Sale includes all regular Back Issue Comic Book stock, used Graphic Novels, Trade Paperbacks, Hard Covers, Sale Comics & Grab Bags*.) That's an additional 15% off our everyday low price of 25% off on these!

And, we'll also be taking 20% OFF all COMIC BOOK SUPPLIES. (Bags, boards, boxes, dividers, etc.)
